Treatment Process
Consultation & Assessment – We examine the lesion to ensure it is safe to treat. Suspicious or cancerous lesions will be referred for specialist review.
CryoPen® Application – A fine jet of nitrous oxide is applied to the lesion for a few seconds. The extreme cold destroys the lesion’s cells.
Aftercare – The treated area may blister or scab, which will naturally fall away as the skin heals.
Results – The lesion is usually gone within 1–3 weeks, though some may require a repeat session.

Scarring is very rare with CryoPen®. Once healed, most patients have normal skin with little or no trace of the lesion.
It is safe for most patients, but a consultation is required. CryoPen® is not used on suspicious or malignant lesions.
