Dr ST Medical Aesthetics Clinic
Firm up loose skin and reduce fine lines and wrinkles
Anti-ageing injections typically contain substances such as hyaluronic acid or botulinum toxin, which help to plump and smooth the skin, reducing the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. They can be used to target specific areas of concern, such as crows feet around the eyes, or deep folds around the mouth. Anti-ageing injections are a non-surgical option for those looking to rejuvenate their appearance and achieve a more youthful look.

Anti-Ageing Injections Overview
Frequently asked questions
Anti-ageing injections typically involve the use of fillers and Botox. Fillers are substances injected into the skin to plump up wrinkles, lines, and hollow areas, giving a more youthful appearance. Botox, on the other hand, is a neurotoxin that reduces wrinkles and fine lines. Both types of anti-ageing injections work by smoothing out the skin and reducing the appearance of wrinkles, resulting in a more youthful and refreshed look. Plus, at our clinician’s clinic, you can expect premium brands for more reliable, more effective results – Juvederm fillers and Allergan Botox.
Filler injections contain hyaluronic acid, a natural substance found in the body that helps to hydrate and plump the skin. It attaches itself to water under the skin, lifting it from below. When injected into specific areas, fillers can fill in hollowed-out areas, reduce the appearance of wrinkles, and enhance facial contours. Botox injections work in a different way. They temporarily paralyse the muscles responsible for causing dynamic wrinkles, such as crows feet and forehead lines. This paralysis prevents the muscles from contracting and creating wrinkles, resulting in a smoother and more youthful complexion.
The appointment will take 20 to 30 minutes for Botox anti-wrinkle injections and 30 to 60 minutes for fillers.
The results of Botox anti-wrinkle injections should be visible in 3 to 4 days with full effects at 2 weeks. These effects should last for 3 to 6 months. The effects of fillers are visible immediately and can last for 6 months to 1 year.
This will depend on the severity of your concerns, the areas you wish to target, and the desired outcome. It is crucial to remember that everyone’s response to treatments can vary, so it is best to work closely with our clinician to develop a personalised treatment plan that suits your individual needs.
